Our Mission

The Colomb Foundation believes that the best response to evil is to bring more good into the world. Our Foundation honors the generous spirit of Dené Colomb, who died in November 2002, a victim of the south Louisiana serial killer. We are a 501(c)(3) service organization dedicated to reducing crimes of opportunity by teaching habits of personal safety, protecting women's health through programs promoting early breast cancer detection, and encouraging the love of knowledge and reading by publishing and distributing a carefully-crafted series of free books for young readers.
